Making a pitcher, kind of like making a tall cylinder, same type of idea of bringing it
narrow. Skinny at first and then stretching it out. I'm going to use my rib tool on this
again to check and see if I?ve made this thin enough so far, yeah I have, and I?m going
to push out with my finger on the inside into that rib tool and get rid of that excess cause
that's going to get in my way. Push back down there and I?m going to pull this up to about
there. Now I?m going to start pushing out this form just a little bit more here. We
are not dealing with the top part yet because I?m going to treat that a little bit differently.
Now we are going to take the curve of this and I?m going to put it right there and I?m
going to angle that a little bit
and that little part right there is given me a little trouble. I?m going to get a sponge
and settle that down a little bit and then do that again. Now I'm going to soften this
up and you can see how thick that lip is. Everything else here, is for the most part,
done and I?m just going to really make sure that I like the form that I have before I
start pulling that spout out. I?m going to try to make that a little bit looser by bringing
my rib up a little bit quicker and I?m going to stretch it. It's really good to stretch
pouring pitchers and tea pots and anything that holds liquid. Just makes it feel like
it has volume to it when you stretch that out. All right, make sure that water is out
of there.
