Ministry of Law and Human Rights relocate some 118 inmates to prisons in Northern Sumatra
after the riots in Tanjung Gusta Prison, Medan which resulted in 5 deaths.
Meanwhile, the prisoners alleged provocateurs reclaiming transferred to LP.
Hundreds of military and police personnel armed to the teeth, are involved in the process
of relocating inmates 1A class Tanjung Gusta Prison in Medan, North Sumatra. Daily Executive
Director General of Corrections Kemenkumham, Krisbanu Bambang said the relocation was due
to the presence of the prisoners on the list of very dangerous for conducive relocated
Tanjung Gusta Prison.
Of the 118 prisoners, 1,100 of whom will be transferred to a prison in North Sumatra.
While 18 alleged riot, moved to LP Nusakambangan, Cilacap, Central Java.
