Putting it all together.
So we've done multiplication.
We've done addition and subtraction.
So now what if we have everything together?
And we've also done distributing.
So now with everything put together we have distributing.
We have multiplication and then we also have subtraction.
So what you want to do is look and see what am I distributing?
It says three and then you have a bag here.
Remember these are always -- if you look at it,
this is a little math bag.
Minus 4 and then another little math bag.
So what you have to do is find out what's
in this bag right here and what's in this bag here
and then we can see if we have anything the same.
So we're basically breaking the bag opening,
and the first one you're going to triple it,
and the second bag you're going to break open and quadruple it.
So let's triple the first one.
That's 3 X's minus 6 and then now we get
to distribute the minus 4.
Remember treat it like a negative 4; like, plus-minus.
So that would give us plus 20X minus 4.
So what we have is X's and whole numbers.
So what's -- if we have 3 X's plus 20 X's, that's 23 X's.
Minus 6 and minus 4; that's minus 10.
And that is our final expression.
Right on there.
Okay. So it's these two little things you're going
to distribute and this breaks open the bag.

And then combine like terms.
Just combine like stuff.
That's it.
If they're the same, put them together.
If they're not, don't.
If it's apples and pears, put apples together
and put pears together.
All right.
So here are three to try.
And just to give you a hint that's minus 3.
And you got a bag here of stuff and then a bag here of stuff.
And there's no number in front; so you want to put one
because you have one bag.
Okay. So give them a shot.
And then after you feel like you got it, un-pause the video
and the answers will appear.
So hit pause now.
All right.
And here's our answers.
So with the first bag, our first parentheses, we have 4 X's
and minus 2 because there's only one of them.
Over here we're going to minus a 1.
So we have to distribute it to both of them
after we break open that bag.
And then we have X's and non X's.
So we combine the non X's, our integers.
We combine the X's and then there's your answer.
Same thing here.
This is 3T and then we're going to take away this little bag.
That's our bag.
And so we distribute the minus to break the bag open
and then combine them.
Same thing.
There's another bag of stuff.
So we have 4 plus that one bag.
So we break open the one bag and we have T minus 8
and then 4 minus 8 is minus 4.
And then that's it.
