Dr. Adrian Billings: I wanted to go back home to practice and I
wanted to go back to a pretty economically deprived hometown
where I was from and the National Health Service Corps
allowed me to do that; to essentially realize a dream
of going back home to practice on the Texas Mexico border.
Dr. Sheree Morgan: For me, one of the benefits is actually
being able to connect with other folks who have the same
mind set and are doing the same sorts of things.
It's also really nice that I'm able to get my loans repaid,
that was not the primary reason but it is a really --
it is very, very helpful.
Dr. Corey Hebert: My job, I felt being with the National Service
Corps, is that I could get the money that I need to be able to
go to medical school so that I can get the education
that I need so I can give that to other people
so they can reach their full potential.
