Hey, were the DIY Divas, I'm Alison. I'm Christina. And I'm Lauren. We're going to show you some
DIY wood staining projects with items that we scooped up at the thrift store, 5-20 bucks,
transform it into far more stylish items for your home.
Alright so I have all the components to finish off our mirror frames! We sanded down these
frames that were a little rough that we found at the flea market, stained them two colors,
got mirrors placed in the frames and two letters that I got stained as well. I also picked
up a braided letter cord for a dollar in the Downtown District. I'm going to thread them
through the letters; they will be hanging midway inside the mirrors, then we add some
hanging hardware! The plan is to hang them on either side of the bed of the master bedroom.
Pretty cool huh?
Ok, so the monogrammed frames are complete. We picked up two nearly identical frames from
the flea market inexpensively, stripped, sanded and stained them. They were already sealed
so we didn't have to do any extra sealing, then we added some letters that we found online
and dued them in an ebony color. Then we had some fabric, for a dollar and added them on
and even had some left over. We had the mirrors in and decided to hang these on either side
of the bed, A for Alison and D for Dason.
