(Kirsten) The challenge that I was that I would get students
who have a lot of different learning styles and I really just
wanted to learn how to reach out to students and help them
get the most out of themselves, and knew that I didn't really
know how to do that.
(Kirsten) What what I would like your feedback on is teaching
flowcharts in an accounting information systems class.
We basically we practice in class, but we don't have a lot of
time to practice in class.
(Kirsten) The process with the faculty, the FLC process,
opens it up to getting all of these ideas from people who do
things differently, which again makes it that much easier, you
know, you're not having to try to come up with things that
would never occur to you.
(Hicham) I think that from the previous classes she
anticipates what we are going to have difficulty for and she
would try to make it clear for us.
(Kirsten) And this is one of the places where
people have trouble.
A number of students will keep making this mistake.
(Kirsten) I've come to belief very firmly that if you reach
them the right way, any kid can learn to do well.
