So you just had a baby and Christmas is around the corner and you're wondering how to celebrate
your baby's first Christmas. Hi, I'm Jessica Meiczinger with Simply Divine Events and I'm
going to share with you some fun ideas and actually some ideas that I did with my own
children on how to celebrate a baby's first Christmas. First of all, you definitely want
to get your camera out, video camera if you have it, if not, just your standard camera
and take lots of pictures. They don't really get into the whole Christmas thing because
they're so little, but you want to make it festive for them and take them to see Santa
Claus and you can even dress them in little outfits that say "Baby's First Christmas".
You can get little Santa hats like we have here and put a hat on them when you do your
pictures around Christmas time. A cute picture idea that I like is to just put the baby in
a Santa hat and lay them down on a nice fur blanket which makes for a cute picture. You
can also take them out to see the holiday lights. Babies love lots of lights and blinking,
so they really like that. It just keeps them occupied and gets their attention. Another
thing, the day of Christmas don't spend a lot of time in buying lots of toys and trinkets
for them because chances are they're going to be more into the wrapping paper and eating
the paper and crinkling it as opposed to the toys that they get. So that'll keep your cost
down as far as buying gifts. Just have lots of gifts wrapped in wrapping paper and let
them have at it. So those are just some ideas on how to celebrate your baby's first Christmas.
Again, I'm Jessica Meiczinger, and have a Merry Christmas.
