>> Julia: Hi there, my name is Julia. I am the owner of UniqueVanities.com and in today's
video, what I wanted to talk about today is some of the trends we are seeing in master
bathroom vanities. There's several things that you need to take into consideration when
you're looking at, you know, selecting a vanity for your master bathroom project, whether
it's a new build or a remodel. First, and foremost, you're going to want
know how much space you need for storage. Do you want your towels to be away in the
cabinets? Do you have a lot of hair products or hair tools, make-up, cleaning products,
what types of things do you plan on keeping in here? And take that into consideration
so that you can determine is doors with open cabinet space or drawer space or a combination
of both going to be best for you? You also should take into consideration your
countertop space. How much space you have. Obviously, I know, for me, I take up a lot
of space in the bathroom, and so, I need a full, open space to get ready.
Another thing to take into consideration would be the countertop material type. There are
several materials that are excellent options for bathroom vanities. But, knowing that whatever
material you chose for your master bathroom is going to be used a lot. So you are just
going to have to understand what the maintenance is for the material type that you choose.
One of the things that we are seeing that is a big trend right now in master bathroom
vanities is modular units. The modular units are, in essence, two single vanities with
a middle bank of drawers. We actually ship them out as three separate pieces and you
put the pieces together. What's really great about these modular units is that you can
vary the length as much as you want. In standard, we would sell two single vanities and a middle
bank of drawers, but you could also add two sets of drawers. You could do just a single
vanity and a set of drawers. Just depending on what your needs are in your space. But,
in essence, you could do the same thing with any two vanities. You don't have to go with
the traditional, single piece with a dual sink. You could actually take two individual
bathroom vanities, two single sinks, stand alone, and use those in your master bath.
It would leave some open space in between and being creative, there's lots of things
you could do with that space. Just one more thing to consider. We just wanted
to let you know what we're seeing as the biggest trends right now. If you have any questions
