Welcome to Mt. SAC Moodle!
This tutorial is on Course Announcements.
Many professors communicate with their students by creating annoucements through Moodlerooms.
You may be recieving them through your email, but you may also check them in your Moodlerooms
courses. This tutorial will show you how to find the
announcements in a Moodlerooms course.
The Announcments, or News Forum in some classes, are typically found in the center-top area
of your course front page.
This view indicates that there is a new announcement that the user has not yet clicked on, or read.
Your professor may choose to display The Latest News block. In this course, it is located
on the right side of the course page. The Latest News block will indicate the most
recent announcments.
You may click on the shortened title of an announcement to go directly to that announcement.
Click on the announcement name in the Discussion column.
You can now read the announcement. To go back to the home page, you use the Navigation Block
or the link to the course name at the top of the page.
This concludes the tutorial on how to view announcements in Moodlerooms.
For Support in Moodlerooms, you can use the Student Support link
at the top of every Moodlerooms page.
The MR Support page contains answers to some frequently asked questions and the email address
to contact technical support.
You can also find the MR Support page through the Portal by going to the eLearning Tools
tab and clicking on the help button or the Support for students link
