hello i'm on Omega Haxors and this is my first video that i've decided
to use
actual live chat for
well, it will be a live when I record this, obviously
so anyway i'm going to be going on my test server "The not so legit snapshot"
and i'm going to show you my automatic potion brewer. It's
currently set to splash potion of healing but it can also be
turned on to harming mode
and i'll show you that later
so anyway
this is really basic device
it basically if
the chest is empty then it'll sound off this alarm right here
letting you know that your water bottles are getting empty
i kinda had it's had a little high but i couldn't set it any lower so
ill have to do for now
So down here we have the
hopper array
which stores
all my potions. You see, I kinda left at running for a while so that
so I can test it
turns out to work surprisingly well except there are cup-
actually i did our purpose on my last failed videos to show that
leaving the thing
and taking out certain ingredients doesn't
affect the process
so it's adaptable like that but there are
a few small problems
like, for one
should never
ever take the bottles out because that would make the thing go haywire for about
three seconds before self corrects itself
and it will just spew out ingredients
it is not as bad as my beta model
but it's annoying
so don't even bother
taking the bottles out, just just let the device do that for you
so anyway
right here I've got a comparator
please correct me if this is not the
correct way of spelling
or pronouncing comparator
but i'm going to call it the comparator for now.
so anyway this chest here is supposed to simulate the charge that
a three bottle would
give you. A three bottle here
because when a comparator is facing away from a chest
or an entity, a tile entity
than it will check how many
items are in there and give a current based on how
much charge there is
So anyway this thing will only give off a charge only for a single tick
if an item goes in here
and that'll make this
mini-alarm go off it's just you don't even need to have this
it's completely unnecessary.
i like to have it though as an
as an audio
and right here is a four-tick repeater and when that goes off for more than one tick
then that will go off
causing the rest of this mechanism to go off
so
because this is on quick delay instead of going just "ding"
it'll go "ding-ding"
so here's another small delay here
and this is actually probably one of the most important and difficult to make
parts of this entire circuit i had to re-make this thing three times get it to work
so this will actually stop you from
from absorbing the potions from the top
unless you want it to
otherwise
you won't get anywhere
and this is to prevent you from
just releasing
water bottles into the bottom because that does happen
and i might show you later but probably won't
anyway this is uh... comparator set to subtraction mode, so I'll call it the subtractor
so there's a subtractor here and
that set off so that this will go off for a while
while that one's off
and it will invert again. So
this delay right here
is mostly to keep the peace
because if i have the ingredients going in while that's clearing then
bad things happen
though this is just a simple
dropper array i decide to use droppers but you can use dispensers they
work exactly the same
but i'd prefer to see smiley face over shocked faces
and this is a glass barrier so that i don't get too close and accidently pick up
the items because I DID seem to notice that was a bit of a problem
so anyway the items coming through here water bottles come in through there
they all go in there
redstone magic
goes down there
and right here you could set up - set it up as a chest shop or maybe
have it all going to uh... chest cart or whatever you decide to do
Now when I make these things I put SMP in mind so you will notice
that there are no pistons
beacuse a lot of the servers i play on
ban pistons
and pistons are generally a nuisance on SMP
so I don't ever use pistons except for
to display something
so anyway i'm going to turn on harming mode
and show you that that's all about
so anyway how it works is
when there are three bottles in there
when they're three bottles
there'll shoot the thru-
i'll shoot
the.. threshold for this
which will cause that to go off
but since the hopper will fill it
It'll cause it to go for only one tick
but if the hopper doesn't fill it
it'll activate the circuit
which will
clear the bottles refill with new bottles and then shoot ingredients
so you see you can add ingredients and you can remove ingredients
as long as they're brewable and in the correct order
you should get your potions so i could easily swap that glistering melon out
for something more like uh...
spider eye for poison. I guess.
Fermented spider eyes; you can add that
at the end as I already done
so during the next loop it should add
a spider eye
and because of the dropper's shooting range
it will actually shoot this
fermented spider eye
as a third ingredient even though it's way at the back and with the longest delay
actually i'll show you that now. Because... there we go. See that?
Now it will go in second
uh... one thing you should not do is do NOT use ice to make the ingredients go faster
first of all completely redundant second of all
It causes problems so, don't even bother
so anyway
that is everthing
gonna show you
the final little bit so i'm going to be mostly quiet for now
just to show you
all these different things and how they work
now you see the
fermented spider eye is coming in now so it's replacing that ingredient
one thing you can do is you can actually remove the gunpowder
or, just completely
turn off the circuit for the gunpowder. Right there.
and it won't even bother
like it won't care that there's no gunpowder it'll just keep on going
you cannot do that with a timed circuit
i tried
wouldn't recommend it
an'now it's a splash harming
and with that it will be a splash harming 2
and it's going to bother with the gunpowder because I turned it off and
I took it out
so now it goes off and down goes the bottles
now when the new ingredients come
it won't have the gunpowder
for this round
But i'm going to turn it on for- oh whoops, hah. I didn't mean to do that. Oh well.

just like I intended
now there's one final small problem right here is that
is that sometimes the ingredients get stuck in here it has absolutely no effect on the actual
gameplay
or how the device works
but sometimes you might lose potions in there. Y-You can just take them out, it's fine.
so anyway that completes my video i guess that's everything I have to show you.
