Today we will prepare Mango pulp.
During summers we do prepare a lot of dishes using mangoes.
We prepare mango shake, mango smoothie, mango ice cream.
But the season of mangoes is very short ie just 2-3 months.
So after mango season if we want to prepare something using mangoes.
Then we can make mango pulp and use it for several days
So let's make mango pulp for today.
For mango pulp we need to choose those varieties that do not have fibres.
You can use safeda, dasheri or alphonso mango.
If at all you are using fibrous mangoes
Then you will have to sieve it and can use the pulp.
The mangoes that we are using is greenish and ripe.
We are using chausa variety.
They are fibrous.
We will make the pulp and will sieve it.
Since the mango season is over.
Only chausa variety is available in the market.
So we will make the mango pulp from this.
To make pulp peel the skin of mangoes.
Cut a thin slice of the mango peel.
We have sliced the peels of mangoes
And now we will extract the pulp inside and will slice it.
Since for grinding it we need to cut it into small piecs.
Cut the pulp into small pieces.
Extract all the pulp above mango seed and separate the mango seed.
Cut the other mangoes and extract the pulp from them.
We have collected the mango pulp in a bowl.
Now we will grind it.
For grinding the pulp put it in mixer jar.
Grind the pulp in the mixer.
The mango pulp is ready.
Put the left over pieces in the jar and finely grind it.
The pulp is ready.
Now filter out the fibres.
Since they are fibrous we will filter out the fibres.
The chausa variety of mangoes are too sweet in taste and are very tasty too.
But they have fibres.
Now filter out the fibres.
Store the pulp inside an air tight container
You can refrigertae the pulp and use it for 6 months.
So whenever we want to make mango shakes, mango smoothie or any other item using mango
Whatever you want to make
Take the container from the freezer.
As soon as the pulp becomes little bit mild in 3-4 minutes .
Then you can take the required pulp using a spoon.
Again you can put the container in freezer.
Do not keep the pulp outside for too long.
Because once it gets melted then it will taste bad.
As soon as it becomes mild, extract it with a spoon and close the container.
Refrigerate it again.
So you can use it like this till it is used up.
Make mango pulp like this at home and use it.
