Udinese already know that they can not progress to the knock-out stages of the Europa League
but that will not stop them denying Liverpool a safe passage on Thursday.
Udinese sit bottom of Group A after three successive defeats, however head coach Francesco
Guidolin is proud of his side's European campaign.
"We go out as other very important European teams did, and I don't even want to mention
them because I respect them, so it could happen also to Udinese. But I'm happy with the path
the team have taken. I love to remember exciting matches of prestige, like the ones against
Arsenal or the one in Glasgow."
At 35 years old, Antonio Di Natale's career is winding down.
The striker signed a two year contract with Udinese in July but the club are out of Europe
and struggling in Serie A.
Di Natale may be tempted to move away from North East Italy if he is to win a trophy
before retirement.
"We need to work our way out of this situation. I don't know if it will be for this year,
next year or in two years... unfortunately but I'll only play until 2014. I won't play
in 2015 but before quitting I would love to play in a European competition again. Let's
hope I do it in these two years."
Di Natale scored during Udinese's 3-2 win at Anfield in October.
The Italian veteran will look to find the net again to end Udinese's disappointing Europa
League campaign on a high.
After all, it could be the last time Di Natale plays on the European stage.
