Alright, basically we've gone over a lot of stuff. There's just no limit to what you can
do with the snare. So what I'm going to do for this last clip is just a little beat that
hopefully will inspire you to just kind of get creative with it. Just because you can
do anything with the snare drum and it's so important and vital to almost every beat you
come up with. It's good to just be as diverse as you can with it, and get as creative as
possible. So this is something that I just kind of made up. So what I'm going to do is
use my left hand of course for the rim shot, and I'm going to mute the snare with the palm
of my left hand while keeping the snares on with the clutch. So the snares are on, I'm
going to mute the snare, use a rim shot, and then I'm going to roll with my right hand
as we spoke about earlier. The snare roll, and just create kind of a funk groove. And
this is something you know, you can expand into anything you want. So I'll just demonstrate
that now. And so basically, just fool around with stuff like that and come up with your
own ideas. And just remember that snare is crucially important to all the beats you make
so I would pay special attention to it. And get as creative as possible and have fun with
it.
