FotoStation lets you quickly browse the contents of folders on your disk or the network.
For often used folders you can create Archives that can be tuned to display content the way you would like.
Files can be sorted by practically any file property and by metadata content.
And there’s a number of different views to categorize and sort your files based on metadata.
These can also be customized for drag and drop classification.
This view can be customized to show the fields you specify.
In this Details view you can choose fields from the column headers at the top.
You can create your own metadata editors and choose which XMP fields to expose and edit.
Predefined content can be used for quickly filling in common tags.
It’s even possible to create entire taxonomies and add a group of related tags at once.
The Advanced Search lets you fine-tune your searches to find any file in the archive.
Actions can be used to automate a sequence of often-performed tasks.
This action removes certain metadata fields with a macro and resizes the picture and adds a watermark for web publishing.
FotoStation has a built-in image editor that lets you perform most basic tasks such as color balance adjustment, cropping, and resizing.
It also supports automation of repetitive tasks.
You can easily print your pictures from FotoStation. It includes a number of templates for single and multi-image printing.
You can also create your own templates that include your copyright information.
