One, two, three, four ...
OK, you're ready?
All right, let's hear it.
All right.
It's a good day when my uniform has some spots there.
Oh, it's a good day. Have fun today.
I like blood.
You like blood?
Yes.
In Bolivia life was hard for us.
I never saw my mother rest
'cause she was working three jobs at the same time.
She always said I had to go to school, have a career,
to have a better life than she had.
I love everything about dentistry.
I'm not very artistic in other areas of my life,
but in dentistry, I feel like I'm an artist.
It's difficult to be a mom full-time and a dentist.
OK, how do I balance that? Let's see.
I work once or twice a week.
My husband's a big support for me.
What's this?
Triangle.
Triangle!
Very good.
At home, we balance things by dividing the chores,
helping each other. My husband's good at that.
He's very good at changing diapers.
The clothes aren't clean? He goes and washes them.
He's not very good at folding, but that doesn't matter.
At least they're clean.
I love my kids, love my kids.
I love to see how they grow and change.
I love to give them food.
There's nothing better than holding your child.
I enjoy going to work because my heart's full.
It's important to have a relationship with God because
I want to be sure my kids know God—
that they can have faith, they can have hope
that they're somebody special.
I love being a mom.
I'm strong.
I'm determined.
I work very hard.
I'm a dentist.
My name is Ruth Wise,
and I'm a Mormon.
