>>Hi everyone this is Martin from the ESET Knowledgebase and today I am going to show
you how to configure your ESET product to detect or ignore unwanted, unsafe and suspicious
applications.
To begin, double-click the ESET icon in the system tray to open the main program window
of your ESET product.
In the main program window, press the F5 key on your keyboard to access the Advanced setup
window.
In the Advanced setup window, expand Computer, and click Antivirus and antispyware. As you
can see, the detection of potentially unwanted applications and the detection of potentially
suspicious applications is enabled by default. You can configure the detection of these types
of applications by selecting or deselecting the check box next to the corresponding scanner
option. In this example, I am enabling the detection of potentially unwanted applications,
potentially unsafe applications and potentially suspicious applications.
When you are finished, click OK to save your changes.
