did a show where half the room was civilian and the other half was comics in the back.
You go by laughter. I think even the other comics will judge you by ``Hey, is this guy
getting laughs?`` I think you also want to have the approval of your peers and you want
other comics to like you. Especially like the scene in New York, as most of the shows
are being run by other comics. It is part of how you get booked on shows is to have
other comics like you.
