Jaguar in water is actually not as unusual as you think it might be they
are certainly the most aquatic evolve big cats
in central Brazil here this one is crossing the river
looking for prey so big hard so the male
definitely an adult stalking along the bank
Jaguar diet consists of upwards of eighty five species more than eighty
five species a different animal
they can take virtually any riparian vertebrate found in their habitats or
anything along the rivers
and in the rivers potential prey item it's on the menu walking along the river
bank for Jaguar
is like it's scanning a buffet line that
great camouflage coat is not doing a whole water good for the sky right now
but is instead depending on more on just stalking technique
he's doing an excellent job stalking you're not seeing any splashing
even though is partially in modern probably can't see the bottom making
sure the footing is good
he's on them
on the bank here further on now and all the way across the river
there're two Cayman that's pretty
laser beam focus if you ask me now I thought
from the left here this was the other caiman that we saw on the water cuz
there were two in the water before
but now there's one caiman on the bank and that's the Jaguar swimming in
not a lot the way a splash is there the sky's good
one two
boom teeth in now it's got to be in the brain case or at least
disconnecting the central nervous system cuz that caiman is no longer struggling
is no longer fighting
that's a meal he's taking away to have
at his convenience
