Welcome to the Enoch Pratt Free Library
State Library Resource Center's Handy Dandy Rhymes.
The rhyme of the month is "I Know An Old Lady."
I know an old lady...who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children, she didn't know what to do.
She fed them some broth (eating noises) and plenty of bread.
And kissed them all soundly, and put them to bed.
Now if you don't have an old lady like this, or like this, you can do it yourself.
I know an old lady...who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children, she didn't know what to do.
She gave them some broth (eating noises) and plenty of bread.
And kissed them all soundly, and put them to bed. Thank you.
