Busta Rhymes is one of the most dynamic, charismatic rappers there is in the hip-hop industry today.
He is originally from the West Indies and much of his style is derived from the dance
hall music. And the heaviness of his voice is what makes him distinctive. If he was not
rapping, he would be doing something with his voice or you would know him, because when
he steps in the room and you hear the brashness and the heaviness of his voice, you know that
that is Busta Rhymes.
Busta Rhymes, when he's rapping, he raps on the two more often than not because he can
rap very fast and he enunciates unlike any other rapper. Because rapping fast, a lot
of times, words get jumbled. So it's harder to enunciate when you're going to have to
say a bunch of words in one bar. And Busta Rhymes has mastered the ability to say a lot
of words but be very articulate in it.
Busta Rhymes is the most energetic rapper that is out there because he is high energy,
and so when he raps, he raps with a lot of energy. And he's also very animated. When
you think of animation and you think of rap, you think of Busta Rhymes.
So, if you want to rap like him you have to be extra animated and extra exaggerated. And,
also, study dance hall music. His whole style is derived from the Jamaican dance hall music,
which is also about energy and about making people have a good time and dance. So you'll
have more of Busta Rhymes' music being about dance and energy and having a good time. And,
ultimately, that is what makes Busta Rhymes' style distinctive.
