If you like me and wear hair extension about a year or two years straight without any break.
Your gonna start noticing like me, your edges gonna not only get thin but there going to
actually at some places they will start looking like their go bald. So I would strongly suggest,
doing what I have to do and I know we hate doing this especially when we've got so committed
to our hair extensions, is that you kinda give. Your hair a break. So this a way you
can kinda give yourself a break, still look professional, still look chic and still look
fashionable. It's just your simple everyday ponytail. I'm gonna show you how to, how you
can do a professional ponytail, still look edgy, still look chic, and still look professional
and you don't have to spend any extra money at the hair salon, so tune in and i'm a show
you how to do that simple chic professional ponytail. Well the first thing you gonna need
is, your gonna need your Indian hair,ok. And when it comes in or even hair that you already
used. Ima show you kinda how to tact that hair back together and create that perfect
look. So the first thing i'm a do is i'm a remove the bands from the Indian hair. Im
also, after we remove the band, and if its real good Indian hair it's all gonna always
have that nice smooth, always try to work your the hair downward, is because the hair
seems it it intact, so you don't want wanna kinda tangle the hair up more. So you gonna
pull the hair apart completely. Your gonna keep it doubled and sometimes if you want
it a little bit thicker, I will even use a third bundle or a second bundle and what you
do is kinda put them together and you kinda have four, four layers and this is one I'm
I'm I'm not, wanna thick ponytail. I want a little thin one. So we're gonna use just,
we're gonna double up the track, ok. I'm going to use our unl, I'm sorry I'm gonna use our
seal weft sealer to seal up the weft. Weft sealer is an excellent product that we use
here at Lehost, and I'm gonna actually kinda go through really fast with the weft sealer,
and what that does, that keep hair from shedding, because you know Indian hair is an investment
and because you spend so much money on it. You wanna try to keep it long as you can and
you want to experience less shedding. So that weft sealer kinda helps us to achieve that
goal. So again as your hair is stretched out, use the first two ends that are loose. You
get your needle , always try to use, I go to, actually I go to the upholstery store
and I get my curve needle. Not that the needles from the beauty supply are not good, they
just not as sharp and because you are going through a sharp weft I mean Im sorry because
your going through a thick weft, you always wanna make sure , that the needle is able
to get through the weft. So what we do is just take the first one and were gonna sew
completely, all the way to the edges. So what i'm a do is speed it up real quick, and your
gonna do this all the way to the very end. Now that we finish sewing the ponytail from one end to the other. The
reason why this is important is because it really kinda help to control the hair from
you going back and for, from kinda falling out the ponytail. So this is gonna help you
to control it. So I would always suggest sewing the wefts together. Always start with clean
hair, always, always, always, and it really would help if you keep your hair washed once
a week. The longer you go the more build up you get on your cuticles, and so i'm a start
positioning how and where I want the ponytail to actually lay, and make sure again that you always use
material rubber band. Don't just use a rubber band, you need it with the material whenever
you dealing with your hair, cause again your hair is so fragile whenever your using products
and stuff its really really fragile because of the moose and everything. So what I have
now is regular gel, and were gonna put it on our edges,ok. Now gonna put some just around
the back, just a little don't need a lot. Depending on the density of your hair, depending
on how soon you just got a relaxer or texturizer, but if you don't use a texturizer or moisturize,
or texturizer or relaxer its ok. Its just depending on the density will determine how
much gel you use or need. Always use a wide tooth comb, especially when your hair is wet.
So i'm just positioning the hair into a little ponytail state, ok. Using my material rubber
band. Make sure you you get all of those little small parts in and the little short you got
them in. Just use a little bit of gel,get your brush and you can do this less than 10
minutes and get to work on time, and as well give your edges a chance to kinda heal up,
ok. Heres the fun part. Now that I got everything kinda smoothed down. I want you to take your
hair and your gonna start with one end. What your gonna do your gonna start pit, pinch
off just like half inch hair, just that little bit, and this is gonna be the actual foundation
to keep the ponytail str, actually strong and your hair, and what you gonna do is is
place it on the rubber band. Then your gonna take that one piece of hair and your just
gonna wrap it around where the rubber band is, and your building a strong foundation
so its as tight as you can take it. Then what your gonna do is your gonna take the other
hair going in the same direction. But you gonna keep it very close to your scalp, and
as your pulling ,as your wrapping Im sorry and pulling it. So its like a wrap and a pull,
a wrap and a pull, wrap and a pull. So as you can see that by sewing wefts together
you can keep more control and the more control you have, the neater your ponytail would look.
Once you get to the end as you can see I don't have any bobby pins. You have to be very very
careful with bobby pins. Putting many bobby pins in your hair especially sleeping with
bobby pins because actually they would cause alopecia . So this is a ponytail without any
bobby pins at all. Now that i'm at the end, let me show you what i'm doing ,i'm taking
this very last, again at the other end i'm taking about an inch, separating an inch, and
thats gonna be like a little tale again to help me with the foundation. Im just gonna
take this one piece and just wrap it into it and then im kinda just hiding it in there.
Press your hair down and thats it. Now your ready for work, your ready for a dinner date
and whatever you need to do, but the most important thing, your giving your edges a
break. Whenever you wear a hair extension for over a year you need to give yourself
a break 4 to 6 weeks. So this is the easy way, you don't need any heat, don't need any
curlers, no flat irons or anything like that, but you giving your hair a great break
