To edit a unit in Program Builder
find and open the unit you wish to edit in the recent units list on ‘home’
or by filtering your ‘units’ area.
Change any of the drop-down options
and edit any of the areas you have typed in.
Changes you make to the unit title, duration,
summary and outcomes will appear in any
scope and sequence the unit may be attached to.
Delete, add or re-order outcomes easily.
Click on the icon to the left of each outcome
to drag and reorder it.
Click the cross on the right corner of an outcome
to delete it.
Click ‘add outcomes’ and select the syllabus and stage
you would like to select more outcomes from.
Delete, add or re-order syllabus content easily.
Click on each line of content
you would like to reorder or delete.
An ‘actions menu’ will appear at the top of the content box
to let you know how many lines are selected.
Click and drag to reorder them.
You are also able to move content lines
to another syllabus content box in another row
of your unit by dragging or using the ‘actions menu’.
Unselect the lines when you are finished reordering them.
Select ‘delete selection’.
Move a row by clicking and dragging it to re-order it
or by using the ‘actions menu’ at the top.
Use the ‘actions menu’ on the left of the box
to delete the row entirely.
Use one of three standard templates to create your unit.
They offer different ways of structuring your unit.
We’ve been using the default template 1.
You can also customise a unit template.
you are able to change the template of units already created
but be aware you may lose some data when you do so.

Click on ‘copy to my units’ to make a copy
of the sample to edit and use in your ‘units’ area.
