This is how you indicate buttons. I'm drawing a shirt dress, which I love to do. I love
to make a shirt dress because it never really goes away. It's always in style. You go straight
down the front of the body. First you're going to make your line for the placket in which
the buttons are going to be buttoning. And then it's as simple as, think about what style
of button you want to use. For this particular shirt dress, I'm going to go with just a circular
button. Simple, simple, simple. And just draw your little circles evenly spaced down the
body. And you can do little crosses in them to kind of just really represent the fact
that they are buttons, how they're sewn on, et cetera, et cetera. You could also go right
beside the page and do a larger version of the style of button that you are rendering.
And this is not the best drawing of a button I've ever done, but it gets the point across.
And that's how you draw buttons.
