for veterinarians at Kansas State University. June third through sixth 2012 are the dates,
right here in Manhattan, Kansas. Our continuing education committee has put together a tremendous
slate of presenters. In addition, they put together great activities for the entire family.

continuing education at the 74th Annual Conference for Veterinarians. This year’s events feature
three main tracks of educational opportunities, as well as ample time to enjoy the Kansas
Veterinary Medical Association’s trade show, network with other practitioners, and obtain
online continuing education credits.
> Global Animal Health will take center stage during our keynote address from 1972 K-State
Alum, Dr. Terry Wollen, who will discuss his past experience with Heifer International
and his current position with the USAID as Livestock and Animal Health Advisor.
> Earn additional CE credits by visiting our first-ever Cyber Café and learning about
K-State’s Veterinary Medicine Online. With your registration, you will be eligible for
complementary CE seminars through the online program.
> Enjoy an evening with your fellow practitioners along with the Trade Show vendors at the new
Kansas Veterinary Medical Association’s Monday Night Trade Show Reception. Unwind
from an invigorating day of learning while networking and learning about the latest and
greatest products and services on the market that you'll want for your practice. Following
the reception, KVMA will host a dinner and awards evening.
> Bring your family and join in a fun run through the K-State Campus or bowling night
in the student union. Manhattan also features many different attractions and activities
that will keep family members of all ages entertained.
