This is Betty.
Betty is very frustrated with her weight and
therefore often very unhappy.
One day she can’t stand it anymore
and really wants to lose some weight.
And there you go: Betty has an idea.
She wants to adjust her diet to her body
– in a completely individual way.
When one of her friends tells her about a new genetic analysis
the CoGAP MetaCheck
which analyzes one’s own metabolism
she really wants to try it.
So, she makes an appointment with her physician
and gets a consultation soon afterwards.
At first, the physician consults Betty and registers her personal data.
Finally, he takes a saliva sample using a swab
to collect some of her genetic data.
Now, Betty’s physician has her personal data and the swab.
The data is now anonymized via barcode.
While Betty is on her way home,
the sample is brought to the laboratory.
There, the genetic data is analyzed.
Using this data, CoGAP generates the MetaCheck-report.
All this takes about two weeks.
As everything is anonymized via barcode
and because CoGAP doesn’t have any access to personal data,
the privacy protection is guaranteed.
The finished report is now sent back to Betty’s physician.
With help oh the barcode he is now able to match
the personal data and the report.
Immediately, he calls Betty
who is already very excited
and leaves straightaway to see him.
From her physician Betty receives the long-desired MetaCheck-report
as well as a consultation about the best possible way
to adapt her diet and her sports to her genetic predisposition.
Betty has now kept to the recommendations according to her Meta-type for several weeks.
In this time, the CoGAP-Nutrition-Portal was a great support to her.
All in all Betty feels very good and has already lost 20 pounds.
Now, her next vacation can come.
