Did you know?
K-State students can now grant a designee access to their financial records in iSIS,
K-State’s student information system.
A designee can be a parent, guardian, or anyone else the student chooses to share their financial
information with.
What does all this mean?
It means no more paper forms.
Students have complete control of who can access their information in iSIS.
No need to share eIDs and passwords anymore . . .
and besides, it’s against K-State policy.
But why is this important to designees?
They can go to iSIS to view and pay their student’s bills, view financial aid, and
get tax information.
So what is the next step?
The process is easy. To get started, new and current students sign in to iSIS and go to
Student Center to create a designee.
Students and designees then complete the set up process by following the instructions in
subsequent emails.
Designees can then use their own K-State eID and password to sign in to iSIS.
What about changes?
Students can add, update, or remove designee access at any time in iSIS.
Emails are sent to both the student and designee so everyone is aware when a change is made.
Designated Access is a powerful and very useful feature offered to K-State students.
If you need help or want a more detailed step-by-step look at the process, check out the designated
access web page.
