Hey there Wildcats, it’s Wednesday, September 28th, I’m Phillicia Thomas. We’re a third
of the way into the fall semester. Let’s take a look at what’s happening today, right
now, on Wildcat Watch. If you were at the Career Fair last week,
you know first impressions are important. If your sloppy dress clothes didn’t land
you the interviews you were looking for, stop by the Career Closet today from 12:00pm to
4:00pm in Holtz Hall. Choose from professional attire in all sizes for you next big interview.
You can shop for free, or give donations to benefit the Manhattan Emergency Shelter.
Speaking of careers, the Women of K-State Organization is having a brownbag lunch for
ladies looking to learn more about finances and retirement in today’s workplace. The
lunch begins at 11:30am in the Flint Hills Room at the K-State Student Union. This event
will be B-Y-O-L, Bring Your Own Lunch! In continuation of banned books week, the
English Department will host an English Fair from 4:30pm to 5:30pm at the English and Counseling
Services and advisors will explain more about their classes, as well as reveal new courses
coming out next spring. I wonder what new Harry Potter class will come out next?
That’s all we have for this Wednesday. Make sure to go to our website at k-state.edu/wildcatwatch
for more videos and information.
