If I'm looking at candidates coming into PQP,
and the growth of their experience from the beginning
to the end, I think the greatest growth is
probably noticeable right at part one. I think part
one is that foundational part of the program where
candidates get that big picture of what's involved in
being an effective school leader. And so, I think
initially when people come in they're a little unsure.
Is this really for me? Can I do this? Will I
understand all the things that I'm required to know for the role?
I think by the end of part one, people have more of
a resolve. As they've gone through and they've had an opportunity to
connect with administrators and, and ask some of the big questions, and
see some of the big picture issues. I think that at the
end of part one, there is that more of a resolve, that
yes I can do this, and yes this is something I truly
want to do.
