Hello and welcome to My Weekly Geekery, the show in which I talk about what's been going on in my
geeky world over the past seven days.
A new trailer for Atlantis has been released by the BBC. This will be shown
in the autumn in the UK
and on BBC America in the US later on in the year. 3 spoof teaser ads have been
released for Yonderland,
the upcoming Sky One comedy with the cast of Horrible Histories. I have put links
to those below.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been given an airdate in the UK. The series will start on
Friday the 27th of September at 8 p.m. on Channel 4.
This is only three days after the US airdate of Tuesday 24 September
on ABC, so only three days for us UK based S.H.I.E.L.D. fans to avoid spoilers.
Speaking of spoilers, season 2 of Once Upon a Time finally ended in the UK
this week so now I'm finally able to look up Once Upon a Time on the internet again.
Because of this I now have some Once Upon a Time news for you. If you're not interested in
Once Upon a Time,
or you're still trying to avoid spoilers for Once Upon a Time then now might
be a good fingers in ears moment.
Season 3 of Once Upon a Time is due to begin on
September 29th in the US with new characters including
Peter Pan played by Robbie Kay, Tinkerbell played by Rose McIver, known on YouTube for her
role
in BriTANicK's Dinner Party sketch, randon fact fans. Ariel played
by Joanna Garcia and Prince Eric played by Gil McKinney. Robin Hood is returning, he was
previously played by Tom Ellis but
has been recast as Sean Maguire, which is a shame because Tom Ellis is pretty awesome
but Sean Maguire is pretty awesome as well. Season 3 of Once Upon a Time will feature
crossover episodes with the new spin-off
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Wonderland will begin on October 10
in the US, and its cast includes Sophie Lowe
as Alice, Michael Socha from Being Human as the Knave of Hearts,
Peter Gadiot as Cyrus, Emma Rigby as the Red Queen, Naveen Andrews as Jafar,
and John Lithgow as the voice of the White Rabbit. The trailer looks really good
and I have linked to it below.
Finally, the three parts of the Globe's productions of Henry VI that I have been going
on about for quite a while in
My Weekly Geekery, are now available as promised on-demand on The Space and I
have linked to those below
if you would like to see them. So in conclusion,
where spoilers are concerned I find there is a very fine line between spoilage
and not spoilage, and as a person of the internet, I find staying on the right side of this
line to be almost impossible
and I keep falling into the spoilery areas of the internet without meaning to.
This is exhausting. This has been My Weekly Geekery.
