Taking a closer look at our themes
if we right click on background we see properties
and we notice that this theme is a read only theme
same for bullets and homepage we only have the properties read only
but when we get down to the my theme
this box is empty
and if I right click on it, we see that we can delete it, rename it
and if we click on the properties
we can rename the name here
and it says
gallery theme
we also have an area to add in files
the easiest way add files to this theme
is to find the files
you want to place in there
and just drag them in
if we look at the path we see that this is still on my desktop
tfcg
pics folder
so we see that
inside our theme is basically a link
to the folder itself
now we could probably
going into our
properties here and find the location of the actual folder in
play some files in there
but i think it's much easier just to grab them drag-and-drop and use the link
to delete our items out of the theme right-click
and delete
we see that it deletes this link here
but it is still in
the location that it started from
if we have many
pictures that we want to add and tweak it also
going to the properties
and add the files through the properties dialog
would go to the find files
going toward the files are located mine were on the desktop
and there's my tfcg pics
clicking ok
shows what files are available
in the dialog box
now if i had many many files in here i might want to filter this down
using this dropdown i might want only BMP files or GIF
this allows you to filter down to
what would show up in your dialog box
I only have two pictures, so it's pretty easy to choose from
now looking at this add in this add all
If I have
a selection of
files here i would highlight
may be holding down control or holding down shift
to select a group of files
and then i would select add to select only
those files that
are highlighted in blue or selected
if i just want to add everything
i would add all
that will grab everything whether it is highlander not it all gets thrown in there
we also have a little preview
there's my mosaic
and the logo itself
i'm going to add all
and now they are loaded into my gallery
right clicking on these
i'm given also another
choice of title
we'll say logo from
gallery
now when we look above we see the title we gave it is tfcg logo from gallery
but the path still has the original name
so now have our new theme button that i've skipped over until now
click in that shows us this dialog box once again
will call this "my new theme"
and we see that's basically the same as the my theme
and i can add in the same
pictures
png files to both
I can delete it out of one
and i can also delete this whole theme if i don't like it
so that's how the gallery works it's got some basic backgrounds
and bullets
and it gives us a place to organize our attachements for libreoffice
