I started hearing about you
know about the buzz Peligrosa I mean
Peligrosa is a lot of things but first and foremost it's a party
it is difficult to play with eight other DJ's
and when I could easily just play by myself but that's
the beautiful thing about the group and the crew is we all contribute how
and where we see fit you know we're all in the same scene
and it just kinda made sense you know it just kind of felt like family
you're not going to hear one kind of genre you're going to hear
pretty much everything but all based around the Latin rhythms
they're doing one thing which is creating a dance floor and making
people party you know but underneath it is
this depth of cultural capital and technique
and aesthetic that's sort of hidden to the casual observer
but it's always there
it just seemed like a really cool fraternity
they threw awesome parties there's a constant push to keep moving the envelope
pushing the envelope everybody wants to hear cumbia and
different kinds latin stuff in their pop songs so
you know we're the ones that are going to give it to them
