O.k, when you hit the ball thin or you top it, it generally is because you move your
head. So, if you're nice and still over the ball, you should hit it pretty cleanly every
time. But, see if I prematurely move my head, then I top it, or I'll skull it or hit it
thin, all of those terms are very similar. So, because you can see your, the old song
is the hipbones connected to the leg bone and so on and so forth. While our head is
connected to our shoulders, is connected to our midsection, is connected to our legs.
So, if I move my head, you see it brings the whole body up. So, if I bring the whole body
up, instead of hitting the ball underneath it, I'm going to hit it to wherever I bring
the body up. So, if I bring up the body too much by moving my head too much, I'll miss
the ball completely. But, a lot of people just move their head just a little bit, which
moves their club up just a little bit and then they hit the ball in the middle of the
ball or the top. So, how you cure this problem is, you can get some type of ball and put
it under your chin, and then practice swinging and you'll be amazed at how still your head
stays, because if you move your head, the ball's going to fall out. So, this may not
be a great way to walk around playing golf, but it's a good way to fix a problem. So,
you don't have to use a golf ball, maybe a nerf ball or something a little bigger. But,
that way you'll keep your head down, and when you keep your head down, you'll keep your
body much more still and then your odds of mishitting the ball are reduced dramatically.
