Hi! This Lindsay Colbus from Lindsay Colbus Accessories. On behalf of Expert Village,
today I'm going to show you how to dress for a date. Just continuing on what we're going
to discuss today. I'm just going to run down a list of factors that you should always keep
in mind when preparing for your first date, and some examples of these factors. I'll talk
in detail about them as we progress through this video. You need to think about where
you're going on your date. For example, are you going to an amusement park? Are you skydiving?
Are you going to the bar? Are you going to a restaurant? There are so many different
places you could go. If you're going on a date with someone who's really adventurous,
you better be prepared to do something other than the norm dinner at a restaurant and then
a drink afterwards. You have to also think about the time of year. Winter, spring, fall,
summer. How are you going to dress for this date? Also, it's really important not to give
off the wrong impression. You need to be able to dress in a way that you're not going to
send the wrong message. Depending on what kind of message you do want to send. I can
only assume that you don't want to portray yourself as an easy target. You always want
to play hard to get. Don't ever wear something that's too revealing and too provocative in
a way that your date is going to misinterpret you. Also, who are you going on a date with?
Is it a blind date? Is it an old friend who you just decided to go on a romantic date
with? Is it somebody you've met once? Somebody who set you up with someone? There are so
many factors that go into this, but I'm going to try and show you how to keep all of these
in mind when picking out your outfit.
