All right, here is my modification of the Alpha Clock Five.
As you can see, this is military time with a pseudo second hand in the middle; it makes
one step every 7½ seconds, and yes, my code handles the half second. When the alarm is
turned off, pressing the left-hand button will show the date, Monday, December 31st,
notice the special character for the "12" so that it fits. However, if I turn the alarm
on, then pressing the left-hand button will show you the alarm time. Now if I turn the
alarm off, then you get the date again. Because after all, what sense would it make to show
the alarm time when the alarm is turned off, thus making the alarm time irrelevant? Now
for the two other display modes. Here is the time of day in 12-hour format, with seconds,
and in case you're wondering what happens when it gets to 10 o'clock, you've already
seen the special character for 12; I have special characters for 10, 11, 12; I also
made this font for the digits, I like having a slashed 7 like that, makes it stand out
more. Here is the last mode, which is just ordinary dumb 12-hour mode for people who,
um, find the other modes a little bit too much to look at or don't understand military
time. Now here it is, back in my default mode, and that's that.
