Diy - Reversible tote bag - Valentine goodie bag

Hey Guys, in this video i will show you how i made this simple Tote Bag. It's reversible and it's good for the environment. A ruler, a pencil, pins, scissors and a sewing machine. And if you're lonely like me some company, here you see Leo and Miley. Fold your fabric. Draw one big rectangle and two strips. Follow the measurements in the video. And cut it out, but don't cut the strips. We'll save that for later. Take out your second fabric. Place the pattern that you just made on top. Pin it to secure, and cut it out. So now you can cut the strips. After everything is cut out We're going to pin all the patterns together. First the big rectangles and then the strips. Remember to pin the fabric right sides together. Sew along the sides. Now take out your sewing machine, plug it in. And switch it on, wind up your bobbin and lets get sewing. Your seam allowance should be 1 centimeter. Fold the bottom seam into a triangle, draw a ten centimeter line square across. Sew on top of the line. Now sew the strips, but leave one small side open. Take a chopstick and push it right side out. Top stitch along the sides. Take out your rectangle again and fold it vertically in half. Measure seven and a half centimeters, and cut a tiny slit. This is where we going to pin the strips. And as you can see i didn't pin right sides together, because I want the floral strip to show with the plain side of the bag. Tug in your bag in their second rectangle and pin it right sides together. Sew along the sides but leave one small opening. Your seam allowance should be two centimeters. Use the opening to turn your bag right side out. Roll out the seam. Pin it in place and top stitch once... or twice..whatever you like. That's it guys, now go get some groceries to carry in your awesome bag. Or fill it with gifts and give it as a goodie bag for your loved ones.. Thank you guys so much for watching.
