Now the idea you might choose from your audience to build the scene would be something like
the name of a story that’s never been told before, or the name of a movie that’s never
been made, or reenact a historical event or something like this and you’re going to
make some active choices while you find yourself a solid piece of scene work just in and of
itself. Now the catch is that while you’re doing this scene work the host is going to
do something kind of deconstructive, he’s going to give you the challenge of reversing
at some point. Now in the game Forward, Reverse you forward, reverse anywhere that the host
finds creative opportunity, for instance I’ve seen hosts have a scene start and thirty seconds
after the scene started they yelled reverse and they reverse it for sixty seconds. So
in other words they reverse it for thirty seconds before the scene actually started
putting the burden on the players of coming up with what happened thirty seconds before
their scene started.
