AND THEN THE OTHER KIND YOU HAVE IS A MOVIE CLIP.
AND I HOPE NOT TO DO THIS
BUT OFTEN I ACCIDENTALLY CALL THESE MOVIE CLIPS
JUST BECAUSE IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO
WITH THE WAY I LEARNED THE PROGRAM.
BUT THE MAIN DISTINCTION
BETWEEN AN ANIMATED SYMBOL AND A MOVIE CLIP--
AND I WOULD WRITE THIS IN YOUR NOTES--
IS THAT A MOVIE CLIP IS TIMELINE-INDEPENDENT.
NOW, MORE ACCURATELY, THE WAY TO SAY THAT
IS THAT THE TIMELINE OF A MOVIE CLIP
IS INDEPENDENT OF THE TIMELINE OF THE MAIN MOVIE.
