Mfuwe Lodge is situated in an area that has always been rich with wildlife in the South Luangwa National Park.
With 18 chalets Mfuwe Lodge is one of the larger properties in South Luangwa National Park,
and after refurbishments in 2010 it is one of the smartest and most modern.
Outside of Mfuwe Lodge is a deck with plenty of low sofas that look out over Mfuwe Lagoon, alongside a pool.
The main building at Mfuwe Lodge houses a bar, a lounge and dining area.
13 of the chalets are Mfuwe Lodge's standard rooms
that are single-storey rooms with a small lounge area and beech wood writing desk in the corner.
The remaining rooms are three family suites and two honeymoon suites that are on two storeys
and all furnished with comfortable double or twin beds and a lounge area.
All chalets have an en-suite bathroom equipped with flushing toilet, twin basins and a walk-in rain shower.
Mfuwe Lodge has got a spa area offering manicures, massages, hot stone treatments and facials amongst other treatments
- all using 'Africology' products.
