[00:00:00.51] When it comes to formatting your images,
there's lots of choices.
[00:00:04.26] Now, this is just a quick overview
of the different color correction
[00:00:07.79] and exposure adjustments you could make.
[00:00:09.75] Remember, iPhoto is a full featured tool
and there's lots of things you can do.
[00:00:14.64] There's full classes here on Lynda.com
that explore the tools inside of iPhoto.
[00:00:18.88] I just want to give you a quick overview
of the most useful effects.
[00:00:23.33] Let's click over here.
[00:00:24.39] Double click to go to this page and
I'll talk about the first type of effect.
[00:00:29.40] Over here in Options, you'll see
that there are four different choices.
[00:00:34.12] You can go with the original image
and let's set this back up to full opacity to start.

photo, so I could apply a Sepia effect
[00:00:44.40] or an Antique effect that goes for bronze
or a simple black and white image.
[00:00:50.90] And then, of course in this case, because
it's a background photo, I could adjust it back.
[00:00:56.23] These effects are a quick way for you
to stylize an image and notice how
[00:01:02.29] easy it is to come up with different looks.
