This is my attempt to break down the strum pattern. I'll be using the A minor chord on
my left hand. So, what's really going on for me is I'm only using my thumb, my index, and
my middle finger. And, as Jeremy does, I'm only using the fifth, fourth, third, and second
string. So, on the A minor chord, those four strings. And if you take away that little
cool down strum thing he does, what essentially is going on is... so, if you can figure that
out, it's thumb on the fifth, index on the third, thumb again on the fourth, and middle
on the second. Now, instead of, instead of that pluck with the thumb, he's replacing
that with the down stroke of the index finger. So it's thumb, index, index, middle. If that
makes sense, I'll re-explain it one more time. Thumb on the fifth, index on the third, and
then the down stroke, and middle on the second. Um, I hope that helps. Please let me know
if it didn't. Um, I don't know how I could explain it any other way, but, yeah, hope
that helps!
