I'm pam, I was born in Odessa
Moved to Amarillo Texas when I was probably about six weeks old, somewhere around there.
I've been doing pest control for about
almost thirteen years.
Thirteen in march.
Never dreamed that I'd still be doing this, I was scared to death. I'm not the best pest
control person.
I bring a little
texas twang to it.
Bring a little bit of me from Texas.
It's a texas thing, y'all wouldn't understand.
So I moved up here to be closer to my sister.
decided to get to know my niece and nephew
I figured, you know, we grew up with lots of family around
and they didn't have any,
so I wanted to be their family.
Give them a little piece of
Texas
I just figured one day I'd grow up and I'd have a horse.
I ended up with a pig.
I got him when he was about five months
so he is about
twelve years old.
He's into everything. I read online that having a potbellied pig is like having a three
year old for the rest your life
and I've learned,
its so true.
And I bought a sign
for that front gate that says "Warning, Attack" and a picture of the pig "on duty."
I thought that was a pretty good joke
I guess a couple years later
I
had some kids walking by and said that they had jumped the fence to get a - a friend of theirs had
jumped the fence to take a look at george
and George chased him out of the yard. he had to dive over the fence
and they refused to come back anywhere near my place.
And I learned real quick, he's my guard pig.
I work hard,
I get up
before the sun comes up and I'm usually home after the sun starts to go down.
Now if my customers are happy
it makes it all worth it.
that's all I care about.
I got a roof over my head, and food for my pig, I'm a happy camper
