Today I'd like to introduce to you the baby monitor Philips Avent SCD 580.
It is delivered in this package and here you can see the parent unit in a charger with the corresponding charging cable.
Here is the baby unit with corresponding charging cable
and there is also a neckband and an AUX cable.
In front of them there's the user manual and a quick start guide.
Now let's look at both units more detailed.
The parent unit has got a display right here,
beneath there are the sound level lights for the optical demonstration of the sound.
Here are some buttons and two LED lights.
At the top you can fasten the neckband.
On this side there are three more buttons
and at the back side there's the battery compartment.
The baby unit also has some buttons and two LED lights on its front side.
At the top, the starry nightlight show is projected
and on the back side there's the temperature sensor
and two plug sockets for the charging and the AUX cable.
On the bottom side there's the battery compartment.
You can switch on the parent unit on the left side.
On the display appear the signal strength, battery condition, temperature and air humidity.
Using the menu navigation, you can change several settings
Beneath, there's a separate soothing menu
where you can activate the nightlight, lullabies and the starry sky.
You can change the volume with the 'plus' and 'minus' buttons.
On the left side there are buttons for the talk function and for the night mode.
The baby unit is switched on with this button
and this button here is telling you that the baby monitor is on.
This LED light shows you if the baby monitor is running on battery and if the battery status is getting low.
If the parent unit is lost, you can activate a sound right here, so it's easier to find it.
The starry nightlight show is activated with this button and the lullabies with this one.
You can skip the lullabies with this button and set the volume with 'plus' and 'minus'.
