Why hire and Architect?
An architect will try to talk to a client and see what their requirements are.
Usually clients come to us with a project.
They may need to have a house rebuilt.
They may need new offices.
They may need to invest in property.
We discuss with our clients to see what their needs are.
Together we establish a brief...
...because, more often than not, clients cannot themselves establish their brief.
They don't know what all their requirements may be connected to one or the other project.
We would then literally take the client by the hand...
through the projects from inception, through sketches...
...going through options, developing the design...
and then take it to completion.
Which means that we would also supervise
the construction and take care that the contractors
actually builds to brief and within budget.

Does good design add value to a building?
Through the design exercise.
We can sometimes double the value of your land
or even more so.
We are carrying out a project at the moment
for a housing association and
it's merely the planning application exercise
which will double the value of the site.
In fact we can say that the money they spent on our architects fees
is going to be recovered 12 times in the increased value of the site.
