Aarhus & Copenhagen
Welcome to Aarhus!
We arrived to Aarhus. I would know it even my eyes shut, because pig fart smells so strongly.
From Antwerp to Aarhus in 24 hours with six hours stop in Cologne.
Now we aiming to camping site. Let's search the tourist info.
We know that to the camping is about 3,5 kilometres but we don't know the direction. Let's try to get a map.
We found the camping area. Finally.
The one who asks doesn't get lost from his road.
It was only five kilometres from downtown and we got here by bus.
The camping area is by the sea. Just by the Kattegat bay.
Facilities of camping areas vary a lot. We need to use laptop, charge phones and cameras on daily basis.
Video cam is charging at the moment there in the corner.
This camping area does not have kiosk, restaurant, lounge or a place, where we could hang out and charge devices.
Fortunately we can use this great kitchen. I love stainless steel so much.
And just next the the gas stove, under the microwave, there is a perfect hole for the laptop.
Happy campers!!!
Wake up!
Did you sleep well?
Would there be ice hockey on television?
No. Someone is cooking pasta.
When we woke up in the morning it was raining and grey. Towels, which we left outside to dry, were soaked.
What's good against grayness?
A visit to excellent museum of contemporary art like this Aarhus art museum.
Here are lot of colors around. I'm sitting now in a oddly changing room.
I could sit here whole day.
After a little while...
The light came on!
Well, seems that hostels are fully booked.
Vesterbro Festival! Vesterbro is just behind of the Copenhagen main railway station.
This festival feels nice. Bands are small groups from local rehearsal rooms and garages.
Here plays 80 bands, which are selected out of 600 applicants. They have four stages.
Bands represents genres like hard rock, melodic & indie pop-rock, singer-songwriter folk, electronic and r'n'b /world.
Good selection and cheap beer and cool crowd.
Couple of days in Copenhagen is over. We spent yesterday by walking around the pedestrian area in center,
antique market and at Vesterbro festivals.
It's time to wrap this episode. We go back to the festival, to camping
and tomorrow morning we'll hop on the train to Stockholm.
