Potato plays an important role in preparing dishes
it is used in all households to make any curry.
Potato contains protein, starch, vitamin A, vitamin B and carbohydrates.
It is expensive and can also be stored for several days.
Totady we will prepare delicious Aloo Til Salad using potatoes.
Ingredients required :
Potatoes - 4 (boiled)
Coriander - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Mint - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Mint - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Green chillies - 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger - 1/2" long piece (grated or minced)
Sesame seeds - 1 tbsp
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp or add to taste
Lemon - 1/2
First of all peel then cut potatoes into pieces to make Aloo Til Salad.
Now that we are done peeling the potatoes let us cut them into medium sized pieces.
Turn on the gas as we have to roast the sesame seeds.
Put sesame seeds in hot pan and roast them till they turn light brown while stirring continuously.
Sesame seeds have turned light brown so turn off the gas.
Put the roasted sesame seeds in the potato pieces followed by olive oil, ginger, green chillies, mint leaves, coriander and salt.
Now squeeze the juice from the lemon and add it to the potatoes.
Mix all of the ingredients thoroughly.
Aloo Til Salad is ready.
We have used olive oil in this salad but sesame oil can also be used in its place.
Aloo Salad is so healthy that you can make it even if you are feeling a little hungry, it will surely fill your stomach and give you energy.
