Hi, this is Chase from OpticsPlanet, and I'm here with Mike from FLIR and he's got
some of the H-Series products
Can you tell us a little bit about them? Absolutely!
The H-Series products really come a family
the HS-324, which has a range of 1500 feet for
human detection
and at the HS-307
which has a range of over a quarter of a mile.
I mean this was designed
for and by law enforcement. We had their input every step of the way on the
design process
from the fact that the unit is IP67 and submersible to drop
tested,
it also has a shuttered eye piece.
When you put the eyepiece up to your face it locks the light to your face, so no
perpetrator or bad guys are going to see you
and that's very important for officer safety.
The other aspect of the camera is very easy to use
so you have
easy to understand buttons. It's very simple, there's no menus, it's a one touch
system.
The camera also has the ability to record to an SD card, both video and
still images
from an internal SD card
built right into the camera.
Any size high-density HD card for thousands of hours of video.
There's a hot shoe
which goes on to the bottom of the camera,
allows you to have
NTSC video out
as well as a charger right into the camera.
As well as tripod too. Absolutely, so for those long surveillance hours in a stake
out,
very easy to put this onto a standard tripod.
So again, the camera comes
in two models,
one short range and one long-range, the 324 is the shorter range unit
and for those rural
applications for sheriff, county sheriffs or border patrol
the HS-307 is the perfect option
for well over a quarter mile.
Camera comes in two flavors, one is the Patrol model which is a viewer only
and the Command model, which has the ability to record video and still images
to an SD card. For evidence.
Lightweight,
camera cost starts at about $5500
and it is the perfect
officer safety tool.
On the HS-324 you can double optically
the cameras capability for range
by quickly taking off
the *** the front
and then putting on the 2x extender.
So it's a standard mount, it goes on which will double the image.
Now the camera also has the ability
to digitally double.
The camera has instant on, so from standby, one touch of this button
takes it in and out of standby and the camera battery power will last over a
week in standby mode
with standard AA batteries or lithium ion
rechargeable batteries.
Lightweight,
very easy to use, low-cost,
we sell thousands of these into law enforcement
and we're saving lives every day.
Outstanding.
Again that's the H-Series, and these are available on OpticsPlanet.com
this is Chase and Mike, thank's for watching.
