If you find that your device’s battery life is too short
or it’s charging less quickly, you may need to end inactive applications
and adjust your charging method. Follow along to learn how.
To extend battery life, first access your notifications panel
by swiping down from the top of your screen.
Here you’ll see the icons in use will be green.
Touch the icons you do not currently need, like Wi-Fi, GPS or
Bluetooth, to turn these functions off.
Now, press and hold the home key.
Your Recent Apps screen will appear.
Swipe any app to close it.
You may also press the Task manager option.
The task manager lets you see all of your running active applications.
Press "End" next to the application you wish to close, and then select "OK".
You can also press E"nd all" to close all your running applications
to save battery life. Select "OK" once more when prompted.
If your device is charging too slowly, make sure you are using
the original manufacturer’s adapter and cable that came with
your Galaxy Tab 3.
Also, plug this charger into a wall outlet, instead of your computer
for a more efficient and fast charge.
