One of the many crucial elements to the 7th Army Joint Multinational Training Command
is the 7th Army NCO Academy's Warrior Leaders Course in Grafenwoehr, Germany.
WLC teaches soldiers and junior NCOs the basic responsibilities of Army leaders.
But it shapes instructors, too.
Sergeant Marvin Cornell takes us there.

We're working on the basics and developing the new leaders for tomorrow.
And once you've got the basics down,
you're able to develop and increase the skill level and add in new concepts.
As long as you know where you're coming from, you know where you're going.
We start the building blocks here in putting soldiers in charge of teams and squads.
Seeing people challenge them with stress and then have them develop as leaders,
that's the most beneficial part of watching the training.
That's a 60-second Army Now. [clock ticking] [♪bass guitar playing♪]
