So what I'll do is warm up with an alphabet, sometimes I draw myself lines and sometimes
I don't, and sometimes I want to warm up with something that's a little bit freer form,
so I come up with an alphabet like this; and no it's not the Roman capitals anymore, but
guess where these letters came from, the same place where your handwriting comes from, it's
originated with the Roman. Here's a Roman capital alphabet, emphasizing the beautiful
letter "A", the leader of the alphabet, the letter that tells all the other letters just
how wide we're going to be today. Here's another practice sheet; now you see what happened
here, I'm just winging it, and at the very end I run out of space, so I just made these
guys smaller. Oh, and here's another one; Oh, and here's a really, really free form,
this is no longer the Roman capitals, but they came from the Roman capitals. Again;
and with gold paint; and emphasizing the capital "I"; and yet another one. So this is what
I'm after, for you to work at this as if it's a thing unto itself. Go for it.
