It was, when I first found out I was doing "Man In the Mirror" I was uh...
it's just one of those moments where I was like, this is destiny, this is fate you know,
and it's a song I play back home to all my fans and friends so
it's very easy to get...be attached to it, and I really just try to
manifest the thoughts of my friends back home and just have them be there in
that moment with me.
Yeah, absolutely. The cadence and the way that the verse comes out I tried
to be softer and and and really breathy and just get my
my vocal uh... just be emotional with the vocal, you know, and make sure that people are
hearing
that I have a voice and not that I can just do all these thrilly things
which I love but I thought it was a cool stripped down version of the song.
Yeah, well still soulful but without the the Stevie Wonder gymnastics I guess is
the best way to say it.
I love that stuff like I said so I still want to retain that in my
performance so I'm going to have to find that happy medium.
It's great! Christina is fantastic. She's my inspiration,
I've been watching her for years and years and years and to have a coach
to learn from at her caliber it's like a dream
it every time I sit and talk with her about what I'm doing on the show.
No, she loves it, she really digs my style, she likes...she likes my voice and
it's it's very similar to what she does so
all she just tries to get me to do is
connect with the audience and be comfortable in my own skin, and I'm settling
each and every performance so I think the farther I go, hopefully, in this
competition
the more comfortable I'll be on stage and that'll come across, I hope, a lot more.
Just some really belty stuff that I haven't really found
myself doing yet. I wanna really belt a song out
or I'd like to like sit, maybe, and like
just really sing, like not worry about the movement being all over the stage.
I just wanna sing the hell out of a song.
Hey, I appreciate the votes and your support up to this point and I hope that
you carry me on to the future.
